It is our pleasure to announce the Randolph County applicants who were awarded funding through the 2020 CARES Act Grant
As part of the state of North Carolina’s spending plan for the federal CARES Act funding, $9.4 million was designated to provide direct aid to arts councils and arts organizations in an effort to mitigate business disruptions caused by COVID-19.
The Randolph Arts Guild is the designated entity to distribute the CARES funds for Randolph County, totaling $163,369. In addition to awarding funds to sub-grantees, The RAG also received CARES funds to offset business and/or expenses incurred to COVID-19 from March 1, 2020 through December 30, 2020.
